The Englehardt Branch of KDL is beautifully situated on the east bank of the Flat River. Recently, a pair of patrons came in with an unusual request.
One of them had dropped their bucket hat in the river and needed a stick or something to get it out. Our resourceful librarian extraordinaire, Maddie, handed them a staff-use extendable "grabber" and they retrieved the hat.
When they returned what was borrowed, they commented, "You really can get everything at the library!"
It's true. You really can.
