Since you're reading this post, you probably already have your library card, but that doesn't mean everyone in your family or friend group has theirs. If you know someone who is missing out on the millions of free things that make libraries awesome—books, movies, music, videogames, streaming content, tickets to area attractions, digital databases, LinkedIn Learning, Ancestry.com, language-learning apps, study rooms and so much more—do them a favor and help them get their library card. There are multiple ways to sign up for a card:
- Pop into a local branch and sign up in person.
- Sign up online at kdl.org/ecard, opens a new window.
- Visit one of the Get Carded sign-up events happening in the community this fall!
- Thursday, Sept. 21 at 5:00 PM - Ed Dunneback & Girls Farm, opens a new window
- Saturday, Sept. 30 at 1:00 PM - Fruit Ridge Hayrides, opens a new window
However you can, please spread the word that having (and using) your library card is a great thing!
