BikeKDL is an internal KDL team commited to cycling as recreation and transportation. Our bike-related areas of interest include the KDL Cruisers free bicycle rentals, the library's Bicycle Friendly Business℠ designation and bicycle-oriented programming.

A Bicycle-Friendly Business℠
In 2019, the League of American Bicyclists recognized our Service and Meeting Center with a SilverBicycle Friendly Business℠ award, joining 1,266 local businesses, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies in 50 states and Washington, D.C., with the same designation.
The KDL Service and Meeting Center, right off of the White Pine Trail in Comstock Park, is the first KDL location to be recognized for a commitment to promote a bicycle-friendly environment for employees, guests and the community. The KDL Service Center features a bike shelter with a picnic table, bicycle repair station and Little Free Library where visitors can take books. The facility also provides secure parking and access to shared bicycles that can be checked out during the warmer-weather months. KDL has staff committed to bike-friendly improvements, promotion of positive internal culture and community education.
