Let KDL do your browsing for you! Use the form below to request a staff-picked selection of available items. Please give us 72 hours to get your titles ready. You will be notified when your Book Bundles are ready for pick-up. If you are looking for specific books on a subject or genre, please use the KDL’s Personalized Picks service or call 616-784-2007.

  1. Fill out the Book Bundle form below. Limit of 3 bundles per person.
  2. KDL staff will select an assortment of books or movies in the format of your choice. These items will be placed on hold for you to be picked up during KDL open hours.
  3. After you receive notification that you have holds ready for pick-up, it's time to visit your branch during normal open hours. Holds will remain available for one week.

Types of books

    • 5 Board Books: Books made with heavy laminated paper or cardboard, great for babies and toddlers.
    • 10 Picture Books: Books using large pictures and words to tell a story.
    • 10 Early Reader: Books with simple text and a limited vocabulary, great for beginning readers.
    • 5 Junior Early Chapter Books: Short chapter books for newly independent readers.
    • 5 Junior Fiction: Children’s chapter books.
    • 5 Junior Graphic Novels: Children’s fiction books in an illustrated format.
    • 5 Children’s Spanish: Children’s fiction and non-fiction books with words in Spanish. Sometimes bilingual English/Spanish. 
    • 5 Teen Fiction: Stories invented by the author often dealing with themes that affect teenagers (aimed age 12+).
    • 5 Mystery / Thriller: A mixture of mystery themed books from the adult fiction collection.
    • 5 Romance: A mixture of romance themed books from the adult fiction collection.
    • 5 Science Fiction/Fantasy: A mixture of science fiction/fantasy themed books from the adult fiction collection.
    • 5 Western Fiction: A mixture of western themed books from the adult fiction collection.
    • 5 Horror Fiction: A mixture of horror books from the adult fiction collection.
    • 5 Inspirational: A mixture of inspirational themed books from the adult fiction collection.
    • 5 Biography: A mixture of biographies from the adult nonfiction collection.
    • 5 Children’s DVD: Movies aimed for children and families (mix of PG and G Rated).
