By Anna Hesselschwerdt, Branch Librarian
The Alpine Township Branch is a cozy little branch tucked away from the road on northern Alpine Avenue. We don't have room for much, but we do have a space where you can contribute to some community art!
At the beginning of summer, we placed a sticker mural on the wall inside our magazine room. Much like a paint-by-number, each sticker square corresponds to a letter. When all the stickers are placed on the poster, it creates one big picture. When the mural is completed, we replace it with a new one. Our community has completed four of these posters so far --- two dog murals and two cat murals.
We have more on the way! For this coming season we'll put together giant hot air balloons, butterflies, sunflowers... but only one cat. However, this kitty will be quite ferocious!
We'd love to have you stop by and help us out.
