By Sarah Fontaine, Assistant Branch Librarian
At the Gaines Township Branch, we’re stepping into our Summer Wonder Era—and inviting you to do the same!
Right now, we have a friendship bracelet making station set up and ready for you to experience. Whether you’re channeling your inner Swiftie or just looking for a fun, hands-on way to take a break, this is a fantastic way to slow down, get creative and even make something to share with a friend.
All supplies are provided—just bring yourself and a little imagination. It’s a simple but meaningful way to spend a few minutes at the library, whether you're here to pick up your Summer Wonder prizes, find a new book, print a document or cool off from the summer heat.
We’ve loved seeing how everyone from kids to teens to adults is getting into the spirit. Some people are making bracelets to trade, some are making them to keep and others are just enjoying the process. No matter your age or skill level, you’re invited to jump in.
Also, don’t forget to grab your Summer Wonder reading program materials while you’re at the branch! Prizes are able to be picked up through August 8, and the program is for all ages.
So, come visit us at the Gaines Township Branch and experience a little bit of Summer Wonder, the KDL way!
