Ever walk into your local library and feel like you’ve stepped into a winter wonderland? Every November through December, the Amy Van Andel Library transforms into a dazzling holiday scene filled with candy-coated trees, sparkling snow and cheerfully wrapped presents. These festive touches don’t just brighten the space; they also make the perfect backdrop for a selfie or a holiday family photo.
And while the holidays may come and go, the fun at the Amy Van Andel Library lasts all year long. To keep the celebration going, we host Blind Date with a Book in February to celebrate Valentines Day and Magnetic Poetry in April to honor National Poetry Month.
Looking for something you can enjoy anytime? We’ve got you covered with a scavenger hunt for young patrons, a robust KDL Lab, an ever-growing puzzle exchange and puzzle table, a fully equipped podcast room and even an art gallery featuring local artists on the first floor.
