Let It Snow Wrap-Up

A word from Hennie, our new Programming Manager:
“It is wonderful to see KDL’s Let It Snow program grow by 16% in 2022. Participants are connecting with new literature via our eBooks, eAudiobooks and print collections. We had to quickly buy more prizes for the record number of completers coming into our branches! It’s definitely rewarding to see our patrons respond positively to this staple Teen/Adult program that encourages reading new titles and genres during the cold Michigan winter.”

The numbers are in:

  • Number of participants: 3,660 (including 356 teens)
  • Total number of books read: 20,374
  • Overall increase compared to last year: 16%

Thanks for joining us this winter! Congratulations to our prize winners:
