KDL’s Seed Library offers patrons a variety of sample packets of vegetables, fruits, herbs, grains and flowers to promote sustainability, healthy habits and environmental awareness. This year’s One Seed, One State selection, Pacific Beauty Calendula, was donated by the Michigan Seed Library Network. Other seed packets were donated by Flowerland on Alpine Ave. and Sage Garden Sales. Seeds will be available at all KDL branches and on the Bookmobile starting in mid-March, while supplies last.
