Walk Along, Read Along with StoryWalk®

Are you looking for an opportunity to get out and enjoy our beautiful Kent County Parks with your family? Check out our StoryWalks, available at three local parks. StoryWalk® encourages kids (and adults!) to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Walk along, read along... just follow the signs!

A StoryWalk is available at:

Dwight Lydell Park
4040 Leland Ave NE, Comstock Park, MI 49321

Caledonia Lakeside Park
370 N Lake St SE, Caledonia, MI 49316

Millennium Park
1415 Maynard Ave SW, Walker, MI 49534

KDL's StoryWalk program features Braille enhancement. The text of the story and corresponding activities will be available in Braille on each storyboard, expanding accessibility and allowing more families to enjoy.

Thanks to the Kent County Parks for helping make these StoryWalks possible.

The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
