Offers supportive services for the Grand Rapids LGBTQ community. Resources include a community-friendly business directory, support groups, education & training, and general information.

Equality Michigan Dept. of Victim Services, opens a new window

Part of the Grand Rapids Pride Center. Provides drop-in services, once a month, related to anti-violence support, filing discrimination claims, legal system navigation, and more.

Milton E. Ford LGBT Resource Center, opens a new window

Collaborates with Grand Valley State University and nearby communities to promote equality and engage people of all identities and orientations. Sponsors trainings, workshops, open houses, student support groups, and more.

Provides mental health therapy and counseling. Clinicians focus on life transitions, spirituality, relationships, and multicultural issues.

Thomas "TJ" Fox is a counselor experienced with assisting LGBTQ individuals and at-risk youth. He also assists with letters for HRT, letters for gender affirming surgeries, and other aspects of transition. Accepts Medicaid.

Youth Resources

AYA Youth Collective, opens a new window

Homeless and at-risk youth drop-in center. Offers case management, free showers, washing machines, and a kitchen.

Covenant House, opens a new window

Grand Rapids shelter that assists homeless, runaway, and trafficked youths, including individuals on the LGBTQ spectrum. Staff provide a trauma-informed, resilience-focused approach in order to provide a safe space for LGBTQ youth.
