Print From Anywhere

Update as of Monday, May 4:

  • Printing (up to 50 pages free weekly) will return May 4 at all branches EXCEPT for Kentwood (Richard L. Root) and Cascade Township Branches.
  • Printing will only be available through the Print-From-Anywhere service. You may use your phone, tablet or laptop at a library branch to print. To ensure your success in printing, please bring your device to the branch.
  • Printing from KDL computers will not be available.
  • Photocopy and fax services are currently unavailable. However, if you can print a page using the Print-From-Anywhere service, you can print multiple copies of that page, but photocopier, fax and scanner services are currently unavailable.
  • WiFi is available at all branches.

Easily print your documents at any KDL location.  Just upload your files using the printing portal, enter your library card number and click "Submit". Then visit any branch to retrieve your print job. Remember, printing is free up to 50 pages per week with your library card.

STEP 2: Pickup Your Printing at Any KDL Branch

  1. Go to the printer inside any KDL branch.
  2. Scan or type your library card number at the small kiosk next to the printer.
  3. Pick up your prints.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Open the Printing Portal
  2. Enter your Library Card or Guest Pass number.
  3. Enter your PIN.
  4. Click "Submit".
  5. Upload your files:
    • Either drag and drop files into the rectangle
    • Or Click "Select Files" to open File Explorer. Select your file and click "Open". Repeat if printing multiple files.
  6. Each uploaded file will be listed by document name.
    • If necessary, change the printing options for each file, e.g. number of copies and single or double.
  7. Under User Information, enter optional notification details.
  8. Click "Submit".
  9. Go to the small kiosk next to the printer and enter the Library Card or Guest Pass number to release the job.

More Information

  • KDL and Lakeland Library Cooperative (LLC) cardholders can print up to 50 sheets per week for free.  Guests without library cards can print up to 10 free sheets.
  • Printing credits reset every Saturday night.
  • Print jobs will stay in the queue for 48 hours.
  • Printing is offered through KDL’s printing portal web form.
