Michigan Humanities is pleased to announce the Fall 2023 author tour dates for the 2023-24 Great Michigan Read author, Angeline Boulley. Boulley’s book, Firekeeper’s Daughter, was announced as the 2023-24 Great Michigan Read selection in March.
The tour will begin on September 25 at the Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library. Next, Boulley will head to Bellaire Public Library on September 26, Marion Public Library on September 27, Romeo District Library on September 28 and Kent District Library—Kentwood Branch on October 12. Boulley will finish her Great Michigan Read author tour in the Spring of 2024.
“Firekeeper’s Daughter supplies jumping off points for discussion about many important themes and topics that Native American peoples face in Michigan and throughout the country today.
