Kent District Library is pleased to welcome Emily Whalen as Finance Manager. Whalen will provide general management and oversight of the Finance Department staff, processes and procedures.
“I feel so grateful to be back in a position that has a bigger purpose and such an important impact on our community,” Whalen said. “I have a history of serving the community in both professional and personal capacities.”
Whalen has over ten years of professional accounting experience. Most recently, she served as Controller at Kent County Club and Accounting Manager at Gun Lake Tribe. She has volunteered for the Sparta Celtic Festival and Junior Achievement.
