Kent District Library is pleased to welcome LuLu Brown as the Regional Manager II at the Cascade Twp. and Caledonia Twp. Branches. Brown will provide direct and indirect supervision of all branch staff. She will be responsible for day-to-day circulation operations and implementation of policy and procedural changes.
“KDL’s mission goes beyond books,” said Brown. “The library is the last true community center that creates both physical and virtual spaces of belonging for all people. I am excited to be a part of the KDL team.”
Lulu Brown has spent the last decade in the retail industry. In her previous role at Meijer, she served as a Service Line Leader. Brown was instrumental in streamlining operations for online order pickup and launching a store based Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
