Kent District Library Hosts Music Festival Featuring Local Artists

There's no better way to embrace fall than with a music festival featuring your favorite West Michigan artists from the KDL Vibes collection, opens a new window.

The Cascade Twp. Branch of Kent District Library will host KDL Vibes Fest on Saturday, September 23 from noon to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 24 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Live music performances will take place in the Wisner Center and at the Reference Desk.

Chat with other music fans, hear some of your favorite local musicians and get introduced to your next favorite band — all while hanging out at the library.

"The Cascade Twp. Branch used to offer Sunday Afternoon Live music performances," said Leigh Verburg, Branch Outreach and Programming Specialist. "We are so excited to reimagine those wonderful musical performances with a two-day music festival that will highlight our local musicians."

Featured artists include Lazy Genius, Avocadsquad, Low Phase, RTRN, Hannah Rose Band, Julianne Bouwens, Ralston Bowles, Rabbit Fur, Alex Perez, J Oscar Bittinger and others.
