Stampworthy Adult Reading Challenge
Timeframe: September 1 – November 30
Eligibility: Open to all KDL adult patrons (age 18+).
How to Participate: Patrons receive a stamp on their Stampworthy Adult Reader Card for each visit where they check out a minimum of five items. Once the Stampworthy card has been stamped and initialed by staff five times (that's 5 visits checking out at least 5 books each time), patrons can turn it in at the service desk of any KDL branch. Each completed punch card is worth one entry into the prize drawing.
Prize: The monthly prize is a $50 gift card to ShopKDL.org. Other prizes depend on partner organization donations.

No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment will not improve your chances of winning.
Entry Limit: There is no limit to the number of Stampworthy Adult Reader Cards a patron can complete and submit for entry into the prize drawing.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection: Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the month. The drawing will be conducted by KDL staff.
Notification: Winners will be notified by phone within two days of the drawing. If a winner does not respond within two additional days, an alternate winner will be selected.
Publicity: By participating, entrants agree to allow KDL to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Privacy: Information collected through this promotion--including name, phone number, and library branch--will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and contacting winners. KDL will not sell, share or distribute this information to any third parties, nor will it be used for unsolicited communications. All personal data will be handled in accordance with KDL’s privacy and confidentiality policies.
General Conditions: KDL reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the program, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond KDL's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the program, as determined by KDL in its sole discretion.
Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrants agree that all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the program or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Michigan.
