Legendary Readers (Grades K-5)

Read, write or visit the library for 100 days between Sept. 3 and June 13 to be entered to win a $100 gift card from Schuler Books! Enroll now through Jan. 31.

For Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

Keep reading and learning about weird and wild creatures! Visit the library and ask for directions to our “Tales and Creatures” section.

Nessie the Loch Ness Monster is a legendary creature from Scottish folk stories. It is a dinosaur-like creature with a long neck and big humps on its back. It was photographed (allegedly) in 1933 by a man named Hugh Gray, who was walking his dog past the loch! What do you think? Could the Loch Ness Monster be real?
