If you want to see some amazing talent our local high school students possess, make sure to make a visit to our Cascade Twp. Branch and check out the Altered Book Display! A classroom of students from Forest Hills Northern studied fictional writing and the storytelling arc and crafted their own fictional stories. They then chose a moment from their story to capture and share by altering a hard-cover book.
"We study various artists that have designed altered books and try to emulate their styles," said teacher Tiffany Morrison. "We complete our project by inviting parents and community members in for an "Altered Book Showcase" to vote on their favorite piece."
