Get to Know Deep Roots – A Stampworthy Prize Sponsor

If you’re looking for a place where fresh produce meets family fun, look no further than Deep Roots Produce in Alto, MI, just a short drive from our Caledonia Township Branch. This charming, family-owned farm is one of the proud sponsors of Kent District Library’s Stampworthy Adult Reader Card initiative, and they’ve donated a fantastic prize: a $50 gift card to be used at the farm!

Deep Roots is more than just a produce stand. It’s a full seasonal experience. Visitors can explore the petting zoo, where friendly goats, alpacas, horses and pigs are ready to greet you. There’s also a Farmyard Play Area with hill slides, trike tracks, silo spinners and more.

In the fall, the farm transforms into a festive wonderland with a pumpkin patch, horse-drawn hayrides and an 6-acre corn maze (this year’s theme: baseball!). Plus, there's food. Deep Roots is known for its farm-fresh donuts, made daily and available in a variety of flavors. You’ll also find homemade pizzas, frozen drinks and plenty of local produce to take home.
