Library Closure due to COVID-19

In response to COVID-19, Kent District Library is taking several steps to protect our staff and the general public – in particular the high-risk populations we serve and the high-risk populations who work and volunteer for the library.

As a result of Michigan Governor Whitmer's Executive Order 2020-42, Kent District Library will remain closed until at least April 30, 2020. All library locations are closed to public access. Programs, outreach visits, bookmobile visits and book sales have been cancelled.

The situation will be closely monitored and we are exploring alternate ways to continue providing service while anticipating the reopening of the library. The KDL team is eager to see and serve the people of our community. For updates, visit KDL.org/coronavirus and our social media pages.
