
Kent District Library is proud to partner with the Grand Rapids Public Museum, opens a new window to create an exhibit and programs focusing on the Anishinaabe peoples of the Great Lakes.
The exhibit is titled "Anishinaabe: Past/Present/Future" and will be on display at our East Grand Rapids Branch, opens a new window and our Kentwood (Richard L. Root) Branch, opens a new window through November 30.
KDL is also hosting a relevant program at both branches.

Learn about the history and culture of West Michigan's indigenous population from Katrina Furman, Anishinaabe Curator at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, as the Anishinaabek exhibit at the museum undergoes exciting changes.
