Have a story to tell through comics? There’s still time to enter the Kent District Library Teen Graphic Novel Contest — but the deadline is coming up fast!
Teens ages 11–17 who live in or attend school in Kent County can submit an original comic or graphic novel of up to eight pages. Entries are due on August 31, 2026.
The first-place winner will receive a $100 Meijer gift card, while four honorable mentions will each receive $50 Meijer gift cards. Even better, the top 10 finalists will have their work published in a KDL graphic novel anthology!
Winners will be announced in October, with an award ceremony planned for Saturday, November 21, from 2:00 –3:30 PM at KDL’s Cascade Township Branch.
