Did you know that you can get your high school diploma from your friendly neighborhood library? It’s true! KDL has
partnered with Smart Horizons Career Online Education to offer a certified online high school diploma program. Graduates receive a high school diploma and a career certificate in one of 10 high-growth, high-demand fields.
Thanks to generous donations from the community, this program is completely free to those who qualify. If you have always wanted to get your high school diploma but didn’t know where to start, where to go or if you could do it, we are here to help.
With the Career Online High School program, you will have access to your own career coach, library support and 24/7 on-demand self-paced access. If you have GED credits from any time after 2006, they can be transferred toward your Career Online High School program to make it that much easier to earn your diploma. Let 2022 be the year to get started on something you’ve wanted to accomplish... you deserve it!
To apply, you must be a resident of Kent County, have a library card and be at least 19 years old. To see if COHS is
the right program for you, please fill out this short survey at library.careeronlinehs.org/are-you-ready-survey.
