Jaci Cooper Elected to MLA Board of Directors

Jaci Cooper, KDL's Director of Projects & Planning, was recently elected to the Michigan Library Association Board of Directors as a Member-at-Large. Her term will run from July 2026 through June 2029.

The Michigan Library Association (MLA) Board of Directors is composed of elected leaders from across the state’s library community, representing district libraries, public libraries, tribal libraries and other library service organizations. The board oversees MLA’s mission to support and advocate for libraries and library professionals in Michigan.

"What excites me most about serving on the MLA Board is the opportunity to bridge strategy with connection," said Cooper.  "With the new strategic plan as our guide, I am eager to help sustain and grow a statewide library community that is bold, collaborative and future-ready."
