Increase your workforce potential

We are excited to offer a new service that may help you land a new job or get a promotion. KDL card holders 18 and older have access to Career Skills Training by Penn Foster on the KDL website. These online classes give you the opportunity to learn, review and practice foundational work-related skills that employers look for when hiring. Course topics include adult literacy, basic math, digital literacy skills, math for careers and soft skills.

This is a self-enrolling process. Patrons type in their KDL library card number to "check out" one of the 100 available seats. One seat grants them access to all 5 courses, which can be completed simultaneously and at their own pace. Seats may be renewed directly on the course website. Course status is remembered regardless of the time between renewals. Completion of courses will award patrons a certificate.

This is a great opportunity to take that next step on your career path!
