Requesting materials

Patrons are encouraged to request as many materials as desired. Reading preferences, including favorite authors and subjects, as well as specific titles can be added to a patron’s account at any time.

Contacting the Library

To request materials, fill out the Requesting TBBC Materials form or contact the TBBC office by phone or email. Staff members are happy to assist patrons in choosing reading materials or change reading preferences and account settings at any time.

National Library Service (NLS) Catalog

Patrons can browse the National Library Service Voyager catalog, which lists the materials available at all regional and subregional TBBC libraries across the nation.

NLS Catalogs

The Talking Book Topics, Braille Book Review and International Language Quarterly catalogs list selections of titles recently added to the NLS collection. Requests can be made by filling out and returning the included order forms to the TBBC office. Items requested will be placed on the patron's request list and sent to the patron as they become available.
