The KDL Volunteer opportunities are posted on the event calendar and can be found as a weekly opportunity, a one-time task, a special event or community need. With all the variety, your talents and support will be appreciated! Please read below for description, and then log on to the volunteer calendar to register for an event now!

• Sustainable Service: According to program needs
  • Seed Library
  • Write Michigan Reviewers
• Branch Events: Special programs that will require prep work
• Crowd Power: For large program events that require many hands but light work
• Command Post: Tasks at the Service Center, or the ability to take home prep work for crafts, mailings and materials for programs.

Note: Volunteers will not be assigned shelving or storytime tasks.

All adult volunteers are required to satisfy the KDL Background Check.
