Kent District Library invites community members to take part in meaningful conversations that inspire understanding, healing, and positive change. The P.E.A.C.E. of Mine: Listening for Change program offers a welcoming space to connect with neighbors and explore important issues impacting our community.
These sessions, moderated by Regenail Thomas from Seeds of Promise, focus on how the history of violent crime — along with its connections to racism and discrimination — continues to shape our lives today. Through guided dialogue, participants will practice deep listening and learn trauma-informed conflict-resolution tools, helping uncover the root causes of violence and identify ways to build a safer, more compassionate community.
Upcoming Sessions:

Tuesday, May 12, 6:00–8:00 PM
Plainfield Township Branch -
Thursday, May 14, 6:00–8:00 PM
